In 2005, the Calgary Multicultural Choir represented Alberta at Unisong, during the July 1st Canada Day Festival in Ottawa, Ontario. After concerts at other venues, a tour of the Parliament Buildings, a boat tour of the Ottawa River and other activities, a massed choir concert, which included choirs from all 10 provinces was held at the National Arts Centre. The concert was accompanied by the National Arts Orchestra and was attended by people from around the world visiting Ottawa for the Canada Day Festivities.
