Our members are made up of
adults from many different cultures. The current
mixed choir consists of members with an ethnic
heritage representing over 26 countries including
Canada.
Formed in 1979, the Calgary Multicultural Choir
now has a strong membership of 45 singers. Our
choral season runs from September to December and
again from January to May with
weekly evening rehearsals held Tuesdays from 7:30
p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 5010 Spruce Dr. S.W., in Calgary.
Six to eight performances highlight the end of
each session.
Come
and listen to us once or twice. You may want to join
us!
You may attend either session starting in September or January.
The Fall Session rehearsals will begin Tues, Sept. 7th, 2010.
This
is an intermediate choir.
No auditions are necessary but you must have a good singing voice.
